This programme focuses on working in partnership with government departments, agencies and delivery bodies to strengthen rural economies.

We want to help improve understanding and demonstrate how regional and local bodies can improve rural economic wellbeing, particularly through working with the RDAs.

We're working to ensure that rural businesses are not unfairly disadvantaged, for example, by inadequate provision of broadband. And we're looking for employment-related solutions on skills, migrant workers and young people.
