More must be done to help the rural fuel poor

Peter Vines, a senior adviser in our Whitehall team, has written about fuel poverty in rural areas for Utility Week.


The plight of the rural fuel poor is often overlooked. 1 in 5 rural households spend 10% or more of their income on heating, which is the government's definition of fuel poverty.
