Earlier in 2006 we received the results of an evaluation into approaches to rural crime issues, undertaken for us by CJA Consultants. As part of this evaluation the consultants undertook a survey of parish and town councils to learn from their experience.

This presentation, based on the full report,  presents the findings of this survey work and highlights some good practice case examples. It includes recommendations aimed at the parish sector and at others.

The research was advised by a reference group including representatives from NALC, SLCC, LGA, ACPO, the Home Office, and Defra. We're grateful to them for their assistance in this evaluation.
