Crispin's key responsibilities are to serve as a member of the Commission Management Board; to lead the CRC's engagement with Whitehall Departments and with Parliament; and to ensure the overall quality of our advice to and engagement with Whitehall and Parliament.
Crispin has also worked for the CRC as its Director of Rural Expertise. Prior to that he headed teams working on local governance and housing within the Countryside Agency. Earlier in his career Crispin worked on rural policy at the Local Government Association, including periods of secondment to Defra and to the (then) DETR.
