A report of a face-to-face interview survey of 1,000 people across rural England to examine their recognition of, and attitudes, to disadvantage.

Attitudes and perceptions can compound and hide disadvantage and our survey found that half of rural people do not ‘recognise’ disadvantage in their locality.
