This leaflet outlines our position on what we mean by 'sustainable rural communities'. It describes the changes we believe are needed to policies and practice to make progress towards making rural communities more sustainable.

The leaflet builds on our discussion document 'Planning for sustainable rural communities: a new agenda?' and the conversations and debates we've had at conferences, workshops and round table meetings with different bodies.
