Rural Analysis NESS 2005: Skills Development and Deficiencies in Rural England
‘Skills Development and Deficiencies in Rural England’ is an analysis of responses from rural employers to the National Employers Skills Survey 2005.
This analysis of employer responses allows the 25 sector skills councils (SSCs) to understand the profile of their sectors in rural England, identify skills deficiencies and recruitment challenges faced by their rural customers – for many Councils for the first time and improve their abilities to lever and direct training resources at rural employers.
Enabling all SSCs to see the needs of their rural constituents will better equip the SSCs to secure an appropriate response from those who fund and provide training.
