This Countryside Agency study gathers together evidence on transport initiatives which reduce social exclusion in rural areas, in order to be able to promote the benefits of such projects to mainstream funders.

The study complements other research to examine the benefits of transport to healthcare, wheels to work schemes and Rural Transport Partnership (RTP) national demonstration projects.

Thanks for your comment. Wheels 2 Work can be a great way of helping people to access training and work where public transport is not sufficient.
