Our response to the Department of Health's consultation 'Pharmacy in England: Building on strengths – delivering the future'

We’re looking at the service needs of people in rural areas following major life events. We’ll be spending time talking to rural service users to find out about their experiences. This work will take a practical and positive approach, looking for solutions to providing fair access to services for rural communities. This pilot study looks at services for stroke survivors in the Hereford & Worcester area, with help from the local Stroke Association branch.

The article reflects on the 60th anniversary of the NHS and the Darzi review and the challenges facing healthcare for rural communities.
