Our inquiry into the future for England's upland communities has been gathering evidence to understand how upland communities function and to learn about their aspirations for a vibrant and sustainable future. Evidence has been captured from five main sources: a public call for evidence, a series of six regional hearings, an analysis of existing data sets, some research within upland communities, and a series of themed seminars involving some of the country's leading experts.
